The S-8D62 is a 7.2V Li-ion battery pack designed as a direct replacement for Panasonic CGA-D54S series DV batteries. With a capacity of 47Wh / 6.6Ah, it delivers extended runtime—up to 3 hours on the Panasonic AG-HPX250 and approximately 6.5 hours on the AG-DVX100 when the LCD monitor is active. This makes it ideal for long shooting sessions in documentary, ENG, and field production environments.
Equipped with a 5.5/2.1mm pole-tap DC output socket, the S-8D62 allows simultaneous powering of accessories such as LED lights, monitors, or wireless transmitters alongside the camera. The pole-tap supports up to 30W / 4A output, offering flexible power distribution. A 4-level LED indicator provides instant feedback on remaining battery capacity, ensuring users can monitor power status at a glance.
The battery is compatible with SWIT’s dual-channel charger S-3602D and 4-channel charger LC-D421, with a full recharge time of approximately 4.5 hours. Built-in multiple circuit protections safeguard against overcharge, over-discharge, and short circuits, ensuring safe and reliable operation in professional settings.
