The Roland VC-1-HS is a high-performance HDMI to SDI video converter designed to meet the demands of live production and post-production environments. This converter ensures lossless image conversion, maintaining the original signal's rich blacks and super-whites without interlacing artifacts or signal errors. It supports 3G (Level A&B), HD, and SD SDI formats, making it versatile for various professional applications. The VC-1-HS features HDCP support, allowing for the conversion or pass-through of HDCP signals, except for any SDI output. With selectable audio embedding and de-embedding, you can route different audio sources to or from video devices, ensuring high-quality audio signals through digital AES/EBU input and output. The on-board re-clocker compensates for signal attenuation over long distances, making it ideal for extended setups. This converter is especially complementary to the Roland V-1600HD and V-800HD multi-format video mixers, providing seamless integration for camera inputs on the mixer.
